I give three stars because the ladies in the office were so nice and the residents were all friendly. The park itself needs some help. The electric goes off on somebody everytime it rains you could hear people around running their generators at night. Ours went out twice while we were there. Make sure you have a power surge cord before you go here. Half the power boxes don't have covers over them. It raimes a lot ehile we were here. The pool is so over full the skimmers aren't skimming. It looks clear because the chemicals but get in you can see the million little particles. The back laundry is spotless the front one is dusty and dirty. A fourth of the machines don't work. Also worst thing there's a homeless encampment in the woods next door every night if you have your windows open you can smell it. Once during the day it was going really smoky. Not a great area which is not the parks fault either but for about 900 with the electric, this time a yr in florida I guess this is whats to be expected.
Office staff are great people. Just moved in and felt very welcomed. Was extremely nervous facing our first hurricane but staff made me feel better. Park is kept clean, neat and enjoyable. Again just moved in so let's see how it goes.
Stayed 2 weeks. On very busy road. Office staff friendly but I was assigned toughest spot to park even though plenty of vacant places on both sides of me for the entire 2 weeks. I told them it was my 1st time parking trailer. Also lots of pull thru spots empty. They provided escort to help direct me parking. Mostly permanent park models, not really RV park.
Just called Sundance Lakes RV Port Richey, Florida Resort for availability 1/4/24-1/6/24 and they will not accept a reservation due to our boxer dogs. Apparenty boxer dogs are on the dangerous breed list. First time in 20 years that we have ever been denied for this absurd reason.
Sundance is a very well kept up RV park. Everyone was very friendly. There are several little groups that do their own thing. The pool was lovely but could be bigger with the size of the park. And hot tub would be nice. Nice bathhouse only complaint is that they are not open 24 hours. Plan ahead for shower they don't open until 8 am. Also shower heads need to be replaced. And one more thing I wish they would spray for noseeums....they were terrible! Oh and be careful leaving park the traffic is awful. Nice activities...we enjoyed bingo, exercise class, burger nights and breakfasts! Not sure we like the area so if park was in a different location we would return.
The entire park is so clean and beautiful. I live in Hudson and advise all our RV friends of your place. Looks great!
This is a nice RV resort. It has a good mix of rv's and park models with most being permanent. Most of the folks are snowbirds so getting a space on short notice can be hard. I got lucky. I used the laundry facility and they were very good machines. I didn't use the bathhouse or shower so I can't speak to them. Overall I was very happy and recommend.
Wonderful seniors trailer park. First season here, new snowbirds. Absolutely love it.
